What is a sound bath?

Sound bath meditations are designed to lower the brainwave state and bring the receiver into deep relaxation.  Sound baths help reduce stress, improve sleep, release suppressed emotions, and balance energy.  Participants get comfortable laying down or seated, and are led through a grounding breathing exercise and guided meditation.  The rest of the hour is filled with the healing frequencies of crystal singing bowls, a handpan, ocean drum, buffalo drum, shakers, and gong.  No physical activity is required and no meditation experience is necessary.

Personal sound healing sessions provide an even more in-depth experience, by working directly on the body and in the energetic biofield.  Additional instruments, such as tuning forks, are used on and around the body to balance frequencies in various areas, allowing for energy to flow through the body with more ease.  â€‹â€‹â€‹

Sound bath sessions are designed to help you release stress and tension from your body and mind. Deep relaxation is the primary intention of sound bath appointments. The soothing sounds of the instruments help you achieve a deep state of relaxation and calmness through what is known as audio brainwave entrainment.  Coupled with breathwork during the appointment, sound baths are a powerful relaxation practice.

Are you feeling tired and drained? Sound baths help you feel more energized and rejuvenated. The vibrations of the instruments help stimulate your body's natural healing process by encouraging its transition into its parasympathetic nervous system, also known as the "rest and digest" state.
